Liaoning Fangda Group's NHI Innovation and Development Achievements Appear 2024 Summer Davos Forum
On June 25th, the 15th Annual Meeting of New Leaders of the World Economic Forum (also known as the Summer Davos Forum) opened in Dalian, Liaoning. During the conference, Liaoning Fangda Group’s North Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "NHI") was invited to participate in the "Shenyang Reception Hall" activity to show the world the vivid cases of northeast revitalization and Chinese path to modernization.
The overall area of the Shenyang Reception Hall is 370 square meters, and the open space design facilitates global guests to better understand Shenyang. 11 leading industrial enterprises in Shenyang, including NHI, Shenyang BMW, Neusoft, and Xinsong, have all made appearances, demonstrating Shenyang's industrial strength.
Known as the "cradle of new China's heavy machinery industry", NHI is an important leading equipment manufacturing enterprise in China. Its products are widely used in dozens of fields, such as mining, metallurgy, bulk material handling, tunnel engineering, thermal power generation, etc. It has State Key Laboratory, provincial key engineering technology centers and post-doctoral workstations. At the "Summer Davos Forum" event, NHI showcased a series of advanced technologies such as the world's largest 5.5-meter shearing equipment, as well as some development achievements achieved by the company through innovation in recent years, attracting the attention of many attending representatives.
5.5-meter shearing equipment are widely used in key areas related to national economy and people's livelihood, such as ships, petrochemicals, and railway transportation, and are particularly important in infrastructure construction. At present, NHI is producing the first domestically developed and designed 5.5-meter shearing equipment. This set of 5.5-meter wide and thick plate rolling cutting head shears and fixed length shears is currently the world's largest shear equipment, filling the gap in China. NHI and well-known domestic universities have jointly developed the world's most optimized shear trajectory and rod mechanism, using intelligent control systems and new generation data analysis technology to accurately control the mechanism trajectory and effectively reduce energy consumption through digital control. This equipment is a high-precision automatic control mechanical sizing equipment that can achieve automatic optimization of cutting function, achieve fully automatic and precise sizing, and the cutting quality and accuracy are at the world's leading level. This equipment will be applied to the Zhoukou Iron and Steel Base in Henan Province.
In recent years, NHI has continued to make efforts in product innovation and research and development, focusing on solving the problems of traditional industry transformation and upgrading, innovating new technologies and products, laying out cutting-edge advanced technology and new tracks, actively promoting the transformation of new technological achievements, and deepening cooperation with top domestic research institutes and universities to promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional equipment manufacturing industry.
